LANDERYD’S GOLF CLUB DRIVING PROFIT WITH HELP FROM THE BUCKET PROS

Landeryd is one of the biggest golf clubs in Sweden with three 18-hole courses, and with the purpose of being able to offer top-class training possibilities all year round — for golfers at all levels — Landeryd is now making a substantial investment to its driving range with help from The Bucket Pros.

“We want our golf facilities to be the complete package for everything golf and simultaneously be a positive force in our society as a whole, and we are constantly working to further expand our offer,” says Björn Sturehed, CEO and club director at Landeryd.

“Therefore, we are working purposefully with questions regarding development in various areas, and up next is a substantial investment in our driving range. This will allow us to offer training possibilities all-year round in a modern and cozy environment for our members and guests that we are very proud of.”

The recent construction includes two studios resulting in a total of 28 new bays on two floors with the lower 14 bays being weather protected and equipped with infrared heating. The top floor of the range has been fitted with a large artificial putting green.

“In the fall of 2019, we decided that we would deliver complete solutions to enable golfers to play and practice all year round, 24/7, even in our Nordic climate that typically restricts winter play,” said Andreaz Lindberg, CEO and founder of The Bucket Pros.

“This developed into what we today call ‘FrontYard Solutions’. We are extremely proud and delighted to have been chosen by Landeryd to design and deliver an attractive and modern practice facility for their driving range, which means their season never has to end.”

In addition, all 28 bays are connected to TrackMan Range, and with the help of The Bucket Pros Landeryd has installed a new ball management system, including more ball dispensers for easier access to range balls.

For Björn Sturehed and Landeryd, this investment is not only important in order to improve the golf experience for current members and guests, but also to attract the golfers of the future.

“The golf club is the heart of Landeryd, and we continuously reinvest in our facilities to create more value for our members,” added Sturehed. “The driving range and all the training that takes place there is an enormously important part of our entire business. Today, we have six coaches that work with around 220 junior golfers and who are there for all our members that wish to improve their game.

“We realised that to provide more opportunities for everyone to play and practice golf, we needed to add more bays and extend our opening hours. Not only during the spring and fall when the afternoons get dark, but also during the cold winter season. With weather protection, lighting, heating and everything else our new facility offers, along with the interactive TrackMan Range system connected to all bases, we make our range more attractive both for the golfers of today and for the golfers of tomorrow.

“With this investment in the driving range, we can offer golf and comradery to so many more people, all year round.”
