PALMARES OCEAN LIVING & GOLF CELEBRATES REAL ESTATE AWARD

The stunning new clubhouse at the Algarve’s Palmares Ocean Living & Golf has won the National Real Estate Award, beating nine other finalists to scoop the Tourism category prize in this year’s Imobiliário Magazine awards. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning RCR Arquitectes on behalf of Kronos Homes, which owns and operates Palmares Ocean Living & Golf, the clubhouse serves as the social hub of the resort. It is home to Michelin-starred chef Louis Anjos, who serves up his impressive culinary creations at the clubhouse and its fine dining restaurant, Al Sud. Diners can cool off in the clubhouse’s stunning interior or bask on the sunny terrace with its breath-taking waterfront views.

Commenting on the award, Rui Meneses Ferreira, partner of Kronos Homes said: “Winning this award makes us very proud and proves Kronos Homes ongoing commitment to creating exceptionally beautiful and environmentally sustainable architecture. Thank you to all who have contributed for this exceptional outcome, and we look forward to welcoming you to Palmares Ocean Living & Golf Resort.”

In addition to the clubhouse, Palmares is home to a challenging 27-hole golf course, designed by renowned American architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. Property buyers at Palmares receive annual golf membership for two people as part of their purchase. The award-winning team at RCR Arquitectes have also designed a series of stunning homes at Palmares. Available from €3.4 million, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom villas include a terrace off every bedroom and a private pool at the centre of the home. With the Bay of Lagos laid out below them, the villas deliver spectacular sunset views.
