TREVOSE WINS BIG AT BTME THANKS TO CLEARWATER

Trevose Golf Club in Cornwall are celebrating after winning a brand new ClearWater water recycling system courtesy of Acumen Waste. As part of ClearWater’s prescence at BTME in January, general manager Matthew Mears again ran a free prize draw to win a complete system, commenting: “This was a record breaking year for us with ClearWater enquiries and the new location in the red zone seems to be paying off. It was also a great opportunity to showcase all the new branding and ClearWater logo as well as familiarising customers with the Acumen brand.”

The stand was certainly busy and footfall was up on previous years with continued overseas interest too. The latest ClearWater display unit was on hand and proved useful to explain the virtues of the system, with visits from greenkeepers, machinery dealerships and others with specific interest in washpad compliance. On the final day of BTME, BIGGA CEO, Jim Croxton, carried out the prize draw, which was won by Trevose Golf Club, a links course with stunning views located near Padstow, Cornwall.

Course manager, Neil Ivamy was clearly delighted to have won, stating: “We’re very happy to be compliant now – we’ve wanted a ClearWater system at Trevose for some time now.”
