CLEARWATER EXPANDS WITH NEW-LOOK AND RENEWED DIRECTION

ClearWater, the British-designed and manufactured washpad water recycling system, has announced the appointment of extra staff in order to fulfill increased demand for its products. Acquired by Acumen Waste Services in 2017, and under the stewardship of general manager, Matthew Mears, the ClearWater division has continued to invest, with a dedicated team now comprising Julie Tunningley in administration; Steve Short in engineering and Jez Coward and Chris Burton in sales.

Commenting on the expansion, Mears said: “Reaping the benefits of our large parent company – Acumen Waste Services – the team are backed up by a contingent of cross-trained Acumen staff, well versed in ClearWater. These expansion plans have seen the introduction of new marketing initiatives too, with the emphasis on re-branding; an updated logo which is sympathetic to the core Acumen branding; and new and up-to-date video and fresh advertising. The logo may have changed but it’s the same class-leading ClearWater system.

“We wanted to bring the brand up-to-date and the new contemporary logo exemplifies this. ClearWater now has the opportunity with these extra resources to expand beyond the traditional, but still important, golf sector and target other markets.”

Originally launched in 2003 by previous owners Highspeed Group, ClearWater will mark 25 years of exhibiting at BTME in January, and the week after, will attend the Golf Industry Show in Orlando as the brand seeks to expand outside of its traditional markets.
