He has also starred in Martin Hall’s Golf Channel show in Orlando.
Commenting on his new position, Teichet said: “I am very excited to join the team. This is my first time working in Morocco and I am sure it will be a real adventure! The course extends to more than 6,000 meters and holes are routed around five sparkling lakes on a property of about 200 acres – I’m sure our guests will have a great time playing here!”
Fairmont Royal Palm Golf & Country Club – with the Atlas Mountains as the backdrop – spreads along the banks of Ghord’s wadi, resembling an oasis within the spacious grounds of Domaine Royal Palm. Ideally located south of Marrakech, 12 kilometers from the old city’s ramparts, it offers a unique combination of luxury and sustainable development. The 18-hole golf course, designed by American architect Cabell. B. Robinson, known for his commitment to environmental protection, features the utmost care for water resources and local vegetation thanks to a sophisticated and sustainable irrigation system.
The 18-hole golf course across 75 hectares of natural space offering a true “commune with nature”: it lined with bougainvilleas, laurel roses and hibiscus shrubs, and it is sparked by vibrant colours set off by the silver shades of centuries-old olive trees.
Chadi Chemaly, the property’s new general manager comments: “Our Golf Club resembles a spectacular garden that changes with the seasons and with Michel we aim to make it a whole year around destination for both golf lovers and their companions offering a wide range of activities within the golf course but also in the resort.”
