GolfStar has expanded its golf operations in Spain and has signed a multi-year co-operation agreement with Gaudí Golf Club and Panorámica Golf Club whilst launching a new additional membership for its members — GolfStar Play ALL Spain. The completely new unique Play All Year membership is aimed at golfers who want a great variety of golf courses all year round. With Play ALL Spain, golfers have the ability to play freely on all courses in the network, including 19 courses in Sweden; two courses in Finland, and now three courses in Spain as Gaudí Golf Club and Panorámica Golf Club joins GolfStar’s own nine-hole facility in Cambrils.
Stefan Brikell, market director at GolfStar commented: “Gaudí Golf Club is an easy walking 18-hole par 71 course, with a newly renovated practice range and short game facilities and an authentic Catalan restaurant situated above the large outdoor terrace. Located only ten minutes by car from Cambrils and a few minutes from Reus, the well-maintained course has several water hazards, with well-placed bunkers and greens which are always good.
“An hour south of Cambrils is the Panorámica Golf Club, designed by multi major winner Bernard Langer. The course is fun and challenging with olive tree-lined fairways and large greens. The practice areas are outstanding with large grass driving range and extensive short game training facilities. The clubhouse offers restaurant and bar services as well as a lovely terrace to enjoy a well-deserved drink after your round of golf,” continues Brikell.
“When members add Play ALL Spain to their regular Play ALL Small, Medium, and Large membership, they of course get access to even more courses, but the big difference is that you can then play golf 12 months a year,” stressed Brikell. “This is something that has been requested from our members for a long time ever since our collaboration with Lumine Golf Club that we had until the Pandemic.
“As we have now established GolfStar in Spain with our own office and course in Cambrils — a pleasant town 100km south of Barcelona — this is a natural step to offer our members even more.”
