IRISH CLUB MANAGERS COME TOGETHER FOR THE RACE TO BALTRAY SERIES

With a vision of connecting with clubs across Ireland, Safety and Compliance platform, Obbi Golf, supported Golf Genius in its organisation of the inaugural Irish Autumn Golf Series: ‘The Race to Baltray’. An array of Golf Club Managers across Ireland and Northern Ireland took part in the multi-event series, with the final being held at County Louth Golf Club in October.

Led by Golf Genius, The Race to Baltray provided players with a comprehensive and seamless digital event experience through its market-leading Tournament Management software and support, which managed all event functions such as invitations and communications, online registration, live mobile scoring and TV leaderboards. Craig Higgs, managing director for Golf Genius International commented: “The Race to Baltray has provided some of the most influential voices in Irish club golf with the opportunity to see our tournament management software in-action and fully understand its value in saving their facilities time, driving more revenue and creating exceptional experiences for their customers.

“Our recent growth in Ireland illustrates that club managers, PGA Professionals and other key stakeholders across the country want to embrace market-leading technology at their facilities. Working in tandem with Obbi Golf, it has been a pleasure to put forward our solutions during this series and I look forward to working with attendees over the coming months. Congratulations to our inaugural champion, Paddy Dean from Malone Golf Club.”

Ryan Bell, senior account manager at Obbi Golf added: “The inaugural ‘Race to Baltray Series’ has been an overwhelming success. The aim of the series was to bring general manager’s and club officials together to not only learn more about Obbi Golf and Golf Genius, but also enjoy a unique networking opportunity that will hopefully lead to long standing relationships for all involved.

“Our customer base in Ireland is rapidly growing, highlighting the need for clubs to take a deeper dive into their Safety and Compliance. We would like to thank all our course partners, (Belvoir Park, Powerscourt, Faithlegg, Dromoland and County Louth) for hosting each event along with our participants and colleagues who worked so hard to put on a memorable series. Congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to future events in the coming years.”
