IMG has announced the extension of its management and marketing agreement with Michlifen Golf & Country Club in Morocco. IMG has been working closely with Michlifen since the golf course pre-opening phase and, with this extension, will continue to
provide extensive management support across all areas of the club’s business including agronomy, operations, PR and marketing. Officially opened in September 2018 by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, Michlifen Golf & Country Club is located in the unique mountain town of Ifrane, a 45-minute drive from the historic city of Fez. Set at an altitude of 1,650 metres, the 18-hole championship golf course is the first Jack Nicklaus Signature in North Africa.
The clubhouse offers panoramic views across the golf course and Atlas Mountains, and the golf academy features three IMG performance studios, offering the latest in custom fitting and teaching technology. The course forms part of the iconic Michlifen Resort & Golf, recognised as one of the finest and most exclusive Spa and Alpine retreats in the region. The 71 room, five-star hotel features a luxury spa, world class dining and offers the ultimate golf & leisure destination.
