Motocaddy has recorded its 5,000th order on it’s B2B online trade portal, with stockists taking advantage of being able to order the popular 2024 models outside of conventional office hours. A resounding success since being launched last summer combined with the rave reviews of this year’s products, recent sales have seen a big boost with the number of B2B platform orders in May up 35 per cent versus April, with revenue up 88 per cent during the same period.
The user-friendly system now has over 800 UK retailers registered and of the total number of orders placed so far, nearly a quarter were outside normal office hours, and more than ten per cent were registered over a weekend.
Placing the milestone order, Kenny Monaghan, head professional at Stirling Golf Club describes the portal as a ‘game-changer’: “It really has changed my business in terms of the way I operate and how I manage my stock and my time, so full credit to Motocaddy for bringing it in.
“It’s a total game-changer and I urge any fellow PGA Professionals to sign-up if you haven’t already because you will notice the difference immediately. It’s not just the ease of ordering, it’s also the stock management, the clear accounting system and past orders to name a few that are really useful tools,” he added.
“The live stock availability is a real plus for anyone looking to order from the vast range of Motocaddy products we have available this year — from the brand new entry level SE trolley to the new-look M-Series models,” said UK & Ireland sales director, Steve Morris. “The portal has proved a revelation and we’re delighted with the uptake so far. We’d like to thank our retail partners for their continued support, and hope that the B2B portal — alongside our experienced sales and support teams — continues to make a positive difference to their businesses,” he added.
