Saadiyat Beach Golf Club has entered a period of exceptional performance following the reopening of its enhanced back nine, with the entire 18-hole course now presented in excellent condition and attracting significant interest from golfers seeking an oceanfront playing experience at its finest.
Since welcoming players earlier in the year, the course has continued to mature, resulting in superior playing surfaces, refined conditioning, and a layout that presents as fully established. Saadiyat Beach Golf club joined worldclass.golf — a portfolio of the world’s premier golf courses, destinations and resorts in July 2025 — and this positive trajectory culminated in a record-breaking final quarter for the club, as both members and visiting golfers responded enthusiastically to the opportunity to play the restored course during peak season. Demand from club members, Abu Dhabi residents, and international visitors resulted in Q4 2025 being the busiest and most successful quarter in the club’s history.

The recent improvements to the back nine, executed by Nicklaus Design in collaboration with Gary Player Design, were conceived to enhance the course’s original character while introducing new elements and flow. With the work now completed and integrated, players enjoy a round that balances tradition with renewed features.
Notable modifications include updates to the driveable par-4 10th, expanded and repositioned tees on holes such as the 11th and 15th, a reimagined long par-4 oriented towards the Arabian Gulf, and a visually striking short par-3 framed by dunes and coastal scenery. The closing holes retain their renowned setting, now accentuated by updated contours, native grasses, and beach-style waste areas that provide a memorable conclusion to the round.
Situated along the white sands of Saadiyat Island and overlooking the Arabian Gulf, the course exemplifies world-class golf integrated with a natural environment. As home to over 250 free-roaming gazelles and a range of migratory bird species, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club maintains its status as the Middle East’s first Audubon Certified Cooperative Sanctuary.
