THE MANOR HOUSE AND ADIDAS TEAM UP FOR CLUB SHOP RENOVATION

The Manor House Golf Club, within the picturesque rolling countryside on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, is levelling up in the club shop department by joining forces with adidas to complete a full renovation of its club shop. In recent months, The Manor House has made a number of changes to make the golf club more sustainable – including the introduction of 160 solar panels on the greenkeepers’ equipment store and clubhouse to help power the new fleet of buggies, and BunkerMat technology to the majority of its 80 bunkers to improve sand retention.

With the Manor House continuing its push towards being as carbon friendly as possible, the decision has been made to make its club shop more sustainable – and turning to adidas who have their own all-sustainable golf clothing range. Energy-efficient LED light boxes have been installed, as has a new shoe display and the introduction of additional storage for other products. As part of the changes, the club has increased the size of its ladies golf clothing section and is now solely stocking adidas apparel and shoes to ensure product delivery emissions are also as low as possible.

The German sports giant have also installed a bespoke adidas point of sale system to support the product commercially in order to aid the consumer journey. The club shop renovation is the latest in several changes being made at The Manor House Golf Club to improve the visitor experience.

Golf club manager, Andy Ryan, said: “Our new shop renovation and layout has been designed to improve the experience of everyone who visits The Manor House Golf Club, and we are very happy to now be able to offer our female members and visitors a wider choice of product. We were absolutely delighted when adidas informed us they would be assisting us with our club shop renovation, and we would like to thank them for their help in doing so, as we continue our push to be as sustainable as possible.”

A spokesperson for adidas said: “We have been thrilled to collaborate with The Manor House team and look forward to future projects together.”
